Aren't these reviews a little old? Or do camera tripods not change that much? The newest comment is over a year old, and most of tripods they were talking about in the review came out "when I was in college."
Tripods aren't like computers--they don't change much. In fact, in this area, I would prefer to go with something that has withstood the test of time.
