So has anyone else heard about our illustrious president calling the Constitution a "goddamned piece of paper"? (See Marc's Blog) If I were to spend YEARS devising a plan to instantaneously alienate just about every single registered voter in this country all at once, I don't think I could have devised a better plan.
It's really frustrating to watch the Republican party flush itself down the toilet. It reminds me of a Jeff Foxworthy bit - after a tornado sweeps through a southern town, the media always manages to find the most disheveled, uneducated, hickish women to represent the general population of the town on camera.
Granted, when the hickish women in hair curlers and bad English is elected the President of the United States, we have issues.
Then again, there were no cigars involved in this Presidential debacle.........
